Our Goal
To promote and offer activities that build community in a safe environment while nurturing our children in God's love and in faith, keeping with United Church theology.
Family Activities
Several times throughout the year we hold special events for the whole family, such as barbecues, picnics, movie nights, skating parties, etc. Check our "What's New" page often for upcoming events. Everyone welcome!
All family programs and events are funded by donation and are offered at no cost or on a 'pay what you can' basis. If you would like to help support St. James Youth programs, donations of any size are always welcome, and tax receipts are sent for each taxation year.
| | High School Volunteer Program
We would love it if you would like to fulfill your high school volunteer hours here at the church. There are plenty of opportunities to be a leader in the younger children's programs, to serve at church banquets or to help with other projects around the church. Just contact us to get the ball rolling!
After 4 Club
Our after school group offers safe, supervised, indoor and outdoor play with snacks, arts & crafts, music, stories, and more for kids, aged 5 to 12, Monday and Wednesday, from 3:30 to 5:30 pm. This is offered weekly October to April.
