Today, February 26th, is Communion Sunday. All loose change that is collected during the
Offering will go into our Benevolent fund, which helps people in our community
when they are in need. Thank you for your support!
Skating Party
February 26th
Skating at
Northcrest Arena from 3-5 pm. Pick up a ticket from the church to get in for
free. There will be a potluck supper
after skating at 5:30pm at the Church in the Small Auditorium.

We could use some new names on the usher roster.

PowerPoint Operator. Do
you have basic computer skills? We need you. Two positions available.
No
experience necessary. We will train.

PASTORAL CARE
One of the goals we
set in our 2015 Visioning plan was to create a formal Pastoral Care Visiting
Team.
We
have a lot of people at St. James who are already
visiting our Shut-Ins through UCW, Men's Group, or on their
own. If you are currently visiting shut-ins in their home or at a
Retirement or Nursing Home please let Rev. Julie know. Once we have a
list of current volunteers we will gather together for a meeting to discuss how
we can most effectively visit all of our Shut-Ins.
If
you are interested in becoming a Pastoral Visitor, please let Rev. Julie
know. Thank you for your help in this very important ministry! UCW
50th Anniversay Celebration:

Presbyterial UCW Annual General Meeting.
Tuesday March 6th at Norwood United Church. Registration at 9-9:30am. Cost is $12. Theme: "Tapestry of Love". Please let Lynda know by Feb 28th if you are
planning to go.
