United Church of Canada Centennial Year Worship Service

You are invited to join other members of the United Churches in Peterborough County for a special worship service to recognize the United Church of Canada’s Centennial year.  This service is on Sunday July 28th at 11 a.m. in the Agricultural Hall of Fame Barn at Lang Pioneer Village, Lang. The Agricultural Barn has limited seating but there will be a large tent set up in the courtyard to accommodate the overflow.  On the day of the service, there will be signs (and hopefully people) to indicate where to park. Accessible parking is at the north end of the village.

Bring a lawn chair, your sunscreen (or an umbrella).  The offering we will receive during the service will go directly to Lang Village as a thank you for hosting us.  And following the service, people can enjoy the space for a picnic lunch (bring your own) and then go back in time and tour the Pioneer Village for free.  All are welcome!!!!  If you know in advance, please give Keene/Hiawatha a general idea of number of attendees from your community of faith.

Lang opens at 10 a.m. in the morning so we are welcome to come then.

People will receive admission to the village if they have attended the service
