Wesley Hall:
Our Stained Glass Story
It all goes back to St. James Methodist Church which was originally founded in 1908. After worshipping in a tent, the building originally known as Wesley Hall was constructed and the first service held on March 28, 1909. After 8 years, the congregation outgrew the building and plans for a new sanctuary were started. At the same time, Charlotte Street Methodist was being demolished and bricks, lighting, pews, organ and stained glass windows were offered free to St. James...
